Having graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1980, Dr. Balber is proud to provide a high quality of dentistry in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere to the adults and children of this community. Our goal is to help our patients preserve a beautiful smile and improve their dental health through the latest, most technologically advanced methods available.

One such innovation is all porcelain, computer-generated crowns, inlays, and onlays in one visit through the Cerec machine. These restorations not only provide excellent aesthetics, but are also superior in function and conservation of tooth structure.

In addition, we are happy to offer chairside and in-home bleaching systems through the ‘Zoom Bleaching Technique’ seen on “Extreme Makeovers”. Dr. Balber’s other specialties include implant restorations and Geneva dentures.

Dr. Balber’s office offers educational computer screens for his patients to help them understand their treatment options. Through computer technology, Dr. Balber can take computerized and digital x-rays that expose the patient to 90% less radiation. These x-rays are sharper and therefore, more diagnostic than traditional films. This also gives the patient the opportunity to view their own films on the screen within 6 seconds after they are taken. Providing the latest and best restorations available also encompass our mercury free restorations.

Dr. Balber has been a UCLA Alumni and member of the UCLA Dental School Appollonians since 1980. He attended a one-year mini-residency program in Cosmetic Dentistry and attends numerous continuing education courses yearly. He is a Woodland Hills native, practicing here since 1981 and has been a member of the California Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry since 1985.

Dr. Balber is very active in his community and abroad. He has been a member of the Woodland Hills Optimist Club since 1985 and ran a “Just Say No to Drugs Club” for 3 years. He has provided free dental care locally to the Pacific Boys Lodge, and in the countries of Mexico, Thailand, and Russia. Currently, he provides free dental care to the battered women at the Walter Hoving Home.
